What Parking at FRA Really Costs
Fraport's price list (valid from 1 July 2026) sets drive-up Terminal Parking — including the Terminal 3 garage (entrance P11, up to 8,500 spaces) — at up to €43 per day, or €258 for a week. Booked online in advance, a week starts from €99 in Terminal Parking or €64 in Holiday Parking (Gateway Gardens or the Terminal 2 underground garage, with an S-Bahn ticket or a free shuttle bus to the terminal), subject to availability. Cheaper off-airport lots save money but cost shuttle time.
The Hidden Costs
- Time: finding a space, shuttle, walking — add 20–40 minutes of buffer.
- Return-trip reality: driving 1–2 hours yourself after a night flight is the least pleasant version of all.
- Risk: parking dents, a dead battery after three weeks, connection stress.
Your own car at the airport is not transport — it is a parked monthly rent.
The Transfer Maths
Outbound and return transfers between central Frankfurt and the airport together start at €90 fixed (€45 each way in Economy) — including pickup at your front door, flight tracking and 90 minutes of free waiting time. That beats drive-up Terminal Parking from the third day; a pre-booked Holiday Parking week can undercut it on price alone, so there the transfer's case is time, no shuttle and no tired drive home. Rule of Thumb
A 1–2 day trip driving in yourself: parking can pay off (book online in advance!). A week-plus holiday, family, night flights: book the transfer and leave the car at home.
Skip the car park entirely: a pre-booked fixed-price transfer from the city to Frankfurt Airport runs door to terminal — often for less than a week-long parking ticket, with no shuttle bus in between.
